Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises play an important role as the growth engine of the Nation, contributing to the industrial output, exports, employment generation and help to achieve higher economic growth.  Despite excellent knowledge, innovative ideas and remarkable contributions towards Nation building, most of the entrepreneurs do not come into limelight and their efforts and success are not fully known to the business world. We have, therefore, decided to recognise their extraordinary capabilities and innovations by conferring Awards. This will also motivate other existing and emerging entrepreneurs to succeed in their fields and will act as role models for encouraging more entrepreneurship.  

Small & Medium Business Development Chamber of India recognises Small and Medium enterprises for their exceptional and distinguished contributions, developments, achievements in manufacturing, exports, services and Research & Development by conferring “National Level SME and Entrepreneurship Excellence Awards” every year. We also recognise and confer special awards to those Corporates, Co-operative Sector, Banks and financial Institutions, who support SME Sector for development.

The panel of judges for selection of the awards will consist of industrialists, successful entrepreneurs, experts, serving and retired Government officials, representatives of banks and corporates.
