Challenges to SME Sector
Although Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises play a valuable role in enhancing productivity
and creating employment opportunities in India, they are not getting the proper
support from the concerned government and private sector authorities to achieve
success in National and International Market. Still SME Sector is facing a number
of problems specially in areas like finance, non-availability of new machineries/processes,
upgradation of technologies, low production capacity, marketing, expansion, high skilled labour, solving day-to-day issues and problems, interaction with government
agencies on various matters, lack of knowledge of new markets and avenues etc.
